As we can see, The Ordinary’s ingredients list is quite larger than Pixi’s, if that’s good or bad we’ll find out when we compare let’s go.

Again as we saw in my previous post (link in the end of the post)

The Ordinary likes their active ingredients highly concentrated and when they say you get Glycolic acid well you get it, then we get ingredients like Rosa Damascena which is an antioxidant and Aloe for hydration. Pixi on the other hand start their list with Aloe for hydration, right after that we get the Glycolic acid.

Both of the products have Glycerin in a very good position. It really is a basic ingredient, but it helps with hydration and keeping the skin barrier healthy.

But another product caught my attention in the Pixi product -Sodium Hydroxide this is a highly sensitizing product that holds pH of the product, the ingredient in the Ordinary’s product that does the same is Aminomethyl Propanol, but it’s not so sensitizing and actually helps the acid do its work.

In my opinion, you should choose The Ordinary, clearly the products are similar, but the overall formulation in the 7% Glycolic toner is better there is even no Phenoxyethanol which I like.
